My Three Pennies

The ramblings of a self-confessed student!

Welcome To My Site...

I'm a self-confessed poker addict, who is simultaneously studying an MBA full-time while trying to do freelance work as well as being involved in theatre. Oh, and did I mention that I'm also trying to keep/get fit and lose some weight. It's a good balance! You want to know more, read the blog!

Wow! A second post!

Posted By MR0808 on April 8, 2010

So, I figured I should post something new here, since it’s been two months or so since I last posted. Since then, I’ve started uni, struggling through but making it.

All else in my life is good, I’m working for a good company, making myself some money. Not much else to say. Back in another two months.

It Has Begun…Again

Posted By MR0808 on January 28, 2010

So,  I’ve decided to blog, again. This time though, it’s because I’m going to try and keep people up to date on what is happening in my life, mainly due to the fact that come March 1st, when I start my MBA, I’m going to lose most of my social life.

A bit of a summary of the last six months for those who are interested. Since October last year, I have been working on keeping my weight down. While I did lose an astounding 10 kg in about 2 and a half months, I unfortunately have put about 2 kg back on, however I’m still down a lot of weight and feeling much better, as well as getting lots of compliments. I have also dropped riding all the time, though I hope to get back into my 30-45 minute bike rides each day. However, with uni looming around the corner, I should be able to ride to uni and back each day.

Which brings me onto my next exciting news. I have been accepted into the Monash MBA full-time. Which means, come 19th February, I will be finishing up at my current job and starting the life of a uni bum once more. I’m both nervous and excited about this, but in the long-run it should be good for my career. This will be one of the focal points of my blog over the next few months.

Not much more to say. Will keep you all updated on my life as we continue.
